There are two types of Traders:
1. Those who can afford big and expensive courses/ classes/ seminars. -- For them, there is no problem.
2. Those who have a limited amount of capital for courses/ classes/ seminars. -- Can follow the below steps.
a) Understand as much as from free YouTube videos and other social media platforms (like Twitter, Facebook, and other Websites).
b) Before attending any paid courses/ classes/ seminars - Collect all the queries related to Share Market and get clarification from the trainer. Also, check the same answers from other sources too this will clear all the doubts related to a particular topic and you never have to go back to learn it again.
c) Never attend any classes or courses recommended by your friends and relatives. Find it by yourself as per your need and then attend it, after that you'll not blame others to get scammed.
d) Validate the course content by comparing it to every aspect. Basically what exactly you want for yourself, not what is decided by others(Others can guide you but at last you have to decide by yourself).
e) Beware of trading-related scams (Nowadays every Tom Dick & Harry is a Trainer, All he has to do is photoshop the P&L statement or screenshot and flash it on social media). Always monitor his/her activity for more than a year and verify it from different sources.
f) Go for Basic Stock Market courses. (Not more than 5K to 10K). If it is more than 10K for basic then it's not worth it. Since Trading set-ups and systems are freely available on social media platforms. Since there is a disclaimer given by all even me that "No Holy Grail in Trading.
g) At least have 2-3 years of experience in the Cash market and then move to FNO trading.
h) Basic courses are for Cash Market + overview of FNO. And Advance is for FNO courses/ classes/ seminars.
i) For FNO training - Always ask for 1-2 years of P/L statements of all accounts. (Even I owned 3 trading accounts and trade simultaneously in them).
j) Find out your trading style by trying all and see what suits you as per your personality and time preference. (Not as per your Greed and Needs).
k) In starting everyone wants to make money as quick as possible so ends up doing FNO trading. (For me - Option buying and lost money on that).
l) When you understand what type of trading suits you as per your personality and time allocation, pursue the same for your lifetime.
This is very informative.
